It was built at Barrow in Furness  2 Oct 2018 Although the X51 'midget submarine' HMS Stickleback is too small for visitors to get inside, it has been brought to vivid life on the outside  14 Oct 2016 The 1954 X51 'Stickleback' is set to be the centrepiece of the Scottish Submarine Centre which is due to open next year in the town.
